Matt Rimmer

Matt Rimmer is an attorney and legal consultant with more than 10 years of experience in the legal support and lending verticals. As Vice President of Business Development and Attorney Relations at Counsel Financial, he is responsible for driving market presence, establishing new business strategies and building channel partnerships with both vendors and attorneys.

Matt has worked with various investment and litigation finance funds to deploy upwards of $200 million to contingent fee laws firms during his career. As an attorney, he has actively originated and settled more than $1 million in mass tort claims against a large multinational pharmaceutical company. Matt holds a bachelor degree from Fairfield University and a Juris Doctor degree from Barry University School of Law.

Matt resides in Charlotte, NC with his wife, daughter and their two dogs. Outside of spending time with his family, he is also a member of his local Masters swim team.
