As the Associate Counsel at Counsel Financial, Liz plays an integral role in supporting legal auditors in the analysis of borrowers’ primary collateral—fees from contingent-fee litigation. In addition, she assists in the research and preparation of memorandums related to commercial lending, corporate compliance and collections. She also contributes to the company’s marketing team by drafting content for publication across numerous channels.
Liz received her Juris Doctor from the Duquesne University School of Law, where she was awarded for Excellence in Legal Writing. She holds two Bachelor of Arts Degrees from Duquesne University, in English and History. Liz is admitted to practice in the US District Court for the Western District of New York in addition to New York state court.
She grew up in Williamsville, NY and currently lives in Buffalo, NY. Outside of the workplace, Liz enjoys riding her bike around the Elmwood Village in Buffalo’s summer months and embraces the snowy winter months on the ski slopes. She is an active volunteer with the American Cancer Society.
