Dan Malcos

Dan is the Vice President of Operations at Counsel Financial, where he is responsible for underwriting, compliance and portfolio monitoring.

Dan has been part of the Counsel Financial team since 2005. Prior to this, he spent two years at Paychex in the Retirement Services division.

Dan holds a Bachelor’s degree in economics from the State University of New York College at Fredonia. During his undergraduate studies, Dan was a member of the Omicron Delta Epsilon Honor Society.

Outside of the workplace, Dan volunteers for the Mikey’s Way Foundation. He lives in Buffalo, NY with his wife, Teresa, and daughters, Ava and Addison. Dan enjoys spending time with his family, specifically running with his daughters—attempting to keep pace with them.
