Marc D. Grossman, Esq.

Marc Grossman is co-founder of Sanders Phillips Grossman, LLC, a joint venture that connected one of the top mass tort firms on the east coast with one of the top mass tort firms on the west coast. Mr. Grossman and Glenn Phillips merged the Phillips Law Firm and Sanders Viener Grossman (a/k/a The Sanders Law Firm) to create a national powerhouse against America’s greediest pharmaceutical companies in order to protect individuals injured by defective drugs and medical devices.

Mr. Grossman began his career in 1993 representing plaintiffs with personal injury claims in State and Federal Courts in New York and New Jersey. In 1999, he became Founding Partner of the law firm of Sanders and Grossman. Since 2003, Mr. Grossman has been Senior Partner at Sanders Viener Grossman, recognized as a premier legal practice for personal injury, mass tort and medical malpractice claims. In just 2006 and 2007 alone, Sanders Viener Grossman litigated, negotiated and recovered over $100 million for its clients.

Over the past ten years, Mr. Grossman has represented hundreds of injured clients in lead paint litigations, asbestos litigations, mold litigations and thousands of victims of defective drugs and products. He has received national recognition for his work in the New Jersey Superior Court Vioxx cases against Merck, where he served as a liaison to the media as a member of the Vioxx Plaintiff Steering Committee. Mr. Grossman has also served on Steering Committees for mass tort cases involving the diabetes drug Avandia (against drug manufacturing giant Glaxo-Smithkline Beecham), Chantix (against Pfizer), Levaquin (against Ortho McNeil) and Zicam (against Matrixx Initiatives). Further, Mr. Grossman acted as lead counsel in the Oxycontin litigation in Richmond County, New York, and the Fosamax trial (against Merck) in New Jersey, and is on the Plaintiffs’ Executive Committee in the Multidistrict Litigation involving Propecia (also against Merck). From 2010 to 2013, Mr. Grossman was named a “Super Lawyer” from a national rating service that selects outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas and has also been selected by The National Trial Lawyers as one of the “Top 100 Trial Lawyers” in the nation.

Mr. Grossman was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 1993 and New York Bar in 1994 after completing Brooklyn Law School and Baruch Business School’s J.D./M.B.A. program.
